Terms of Service
1. Introduction
Welcome to the website of Assessment Excellence Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any services, resources or content we provide through it (together, the “Services”).
By using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
2. Who we are
Assessment Excellence Ltd is a consultancy specialising in supporting organisations, training providers and individuals to achieve success in assessments, including apprenticeship End-Point Assessment and related professional assessments.
3. Our Services
Through this website, we may provide:
-
Information about our consultancy services
-
Assessment preparation support, including workshops, mock assessments and resources
-
Advisory and consultancy services for organisations and providers
-
Access to insights, articles and other educational content
-
Contact and enquiry forms to request further information or services
Details of specific services, including scope, fees and timelines, will be agreed separately in writing (for example, in a proposal, quote, purchase order or contract).
4. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Our role is to support preparation and improve assessment readiness. While we aim to enhance performance and outcomes, we do not guarantee that any individual or organisation will achieve a particular grade, result or decision in any assessment or End-Point Assessment.
5. Independence, Ethics and Conflicts of Interest
Independence and integrity are fundamental to what we do. We are committed to acting ethically and maintaining clear safeguards to prevent conflicts of interest, particularly between assessment preparation and assessment decisions.
-
Our assessors will not assess apprentices or candidates whom they have directly supported, coached or prepared through Assessment Excellence Ltd.
-
We maintain a clear separation between any preparation activities (such as coaching, mock assessments or advisory work) and any involvement in assessment or decision-making.
-
Where we provide preparation support, we do so in a way that is professional, impartial and focused on readiness, not on influencing assessment outcomes or decisions.
-
If a potential conflict of interest is identified (for example, where a consultant has a close personal, financial or organisational connection to a candidate or provider), we will:
-
Declare the potential conflict,
-
Put appropriate safeguards in place (such as re-allocating work to another consultant or declining the work), and
-
Keep records of the steps taken.
-
-
We keep records of all apprentices, whether in an employer or training provider's cohort or individually for internal and external audit purposes and to ensure our assessors do not assess apprentices they have directly supported, coached or prepared through Assessment Excellence Ltd. To this end, we carry out spot internal audits to ensure compliance and protect the integrity of assessments as well as our business.
-
We expect our clients to inform us promptly of any circumstances that might give rise to a conflict of interest so that we can assess and manage it appropriately.
By using our Services, you acknowledge our commitment to independence and agree to cooperate with us in identifying and managing any potential conflicts of interest.
